Arsenal continued their impressive start to the Premier League season with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over local rivals Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday night.

Jordan Ayew gave the hosts an early lead, but Arsenal fought back to secure all three points thanks to goals from Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli.

The Gunners now have six points from their opening two games, while Palace remain without a point.

Arsenal made a bright start to the game and took the lead in the 27th minute when Saka fired home a low shot from the edge of the area.

Palace responded well and Ayew levelled the scores just two minutes later, heading home from close range after a cross from Wilfried Zaha.

The second half was a more even affair, with both sides creating chances to win the game.

Arsenal eventually found the winner in the 90th minute when Martinelli tapped home from close range after a cross from Saka.

The Gunners held on for the remaining minutes to secure a hard-earned victory.

The win sees Arsenal move to the top of the Premier League table, while Palace remain in 19th place.
